They've squandered my entrance money for 60 years. I've done plenty for this club.

Bloomin heck !!!

I only wanted the gane discussing, not the club nor fans to be lambasted !!!

Irespective on how poor we were, we could have still won.

The first 10 mins of the 2nd half could easily of wiped out Sheffields lead, and we could have moed on from there.

I must agree with Millward not running the line though. Ian just sat there with his head in his hands does nothing for the team IMHO!

Still, I hope Sheffield give Fev a game. Cannot see nothing other than a very one sided contest though unfortunately!

Quote: maurice "I believe our coach had a watertight contract and could only leave with our permision.Being paraded in a Cas scarf was another stupid move by the club, do the deal and announce it after the season or at least stop him being dressed in Cas colours for the cameras. I cant recall Rhino in a Fax shirt whilst Batley were in the comp.

We have so much to look forward to next year the big money for our level paid to Basil, Bibey, Paul, Hill, Higson, Maden, Duffy will not be hanging around our necks, yes we are still stuck with PR's contract but I understand some £200k was tied up with these and we can fill the gaps at less than 50% of the cost imho.

We will have a club next year but we now need to be open, really open with the fans because it will be the fans who ensure survival as I understand the white knight is no more.

We can run a very competitive team next year, the revenue gap can be overcome but we need action now.'"

Yes they need to be open. Are the current directors still history
What happens to the company, Who owns the shares, Will the company fold Can we afford to do that
Are you suggesting we have hardly any players under contract but we do have an assistant coach under contract. Is that still a first team coach contract, if so will we be paying two coaches next year assuming we will be able to appoint a new coach, if we are still here. If he got a new contract when was this ,for how long and granted by who
Surely we need to get the front office sorted to give us some direction the dwindling fan base cant do it on us own

It has gone down hill since ATs departure, but he put a lot of money into the club unselfishly all these years and nothing lasts forever, so it was always going to be a problem when he withdraw his support.
Then the players pick ed up and carried on won us the NRC, thrashed Widnes after that , however since Millwards annoucement of him leaving the proformances havent been the same, we haven't played well (except in short spells) since, over the last few weeks youve seen the errors creeping in and things not going right, the players never go onto the pitch not giving their all, so its all mental problems I reckon all pointing at Ians second leavng us in the leatrh(sp)

Quote: phil60 "total crap tonite were was milward when we were 8 6 down he should ave been on the touchline runnin the show were was he at full time to waik round with the team nowere and why because he hasnt give a toss since he became cas coach what kind of idiot has his picture taken with a cas scarf on 1 week before the play offs start shows were his mind was sorry blame him totally for the last few games'"

Dont be sorry, your absolutely right! Ive not seen McGuire at Wigan holding a South Sydney scarf above his head and, he's going to the NRL! The Sheffield dugout was full of enthusiasm from the word go and their fans, players and coaches gave their all to ensure they were the ones celebrating at the end! Some of the decisions our players/coaches took on the pitch last night were baffling! Millward has now lost all three play-off ties he has been in charge of at Leigh and, they were all at home! Someone has called Trevor Barton a Turd on an earlier post, does anyone have a fitting description for Millward? icon_wink.gif
