As Matt says , it isn't a case of the cost of playing at the LSV , it's the loss of income that is the problem
Advertising , concession sales , less corporate profit combined with higher cost to corporate customers , loss of merchandise sales due to cost of space rental
All these things add up to a sizeable ( 100 K plus ) loss of income per season since moving into the LSV
Combine that with a disasterous 1 st season , more TV games on Thursday nights with the associated lower attendances , lower profile opposition since SL expanded to 14 ( similar situation next year with the loss of Widnes ) and you're over 200 K down on where we were 3/4 years ago , so where do we find £ 200,000 extra a year ?
1,200 fans at £ 10 per head for 14 home games with associated extra sales of merchandise ,LISA and Lottery and you've just about broke even and looking at a max salary cap spend and all the preferred coaches and junior projects
