I've said for a while that Phil Bentham is the best referee in the country (and not just because he's a Leyther), you watch other top class refs and say "Yep spot on." you watch Phil Bentham and say "Eh, where've you got that from?" Then see the slow-mo replay and say "Actually well spotted."

That's very true actually, although I also think Terry Halibut has been very good this season (which are words I never expected to say/type?!)

That said, James Childs performed well in our game on Friday night, which is also something I never expected to see?!?
