i know this has had a mention already but think its worth another what other sport could u have 2 sets of fans drinkin in the same pubs and walkin down the same streets and yet a did not see 1 bit of trouble and not 1 police van in sight i shook hands with a few fax fans before getin back on the coach and found them sad to ave lost but had nothin but praise for us great for RL and great for the game

Yep Agreed mate, had a brilliant day out with both sets of fans. I had the chance to meet some of the messageboard folks and the team give me the best birthday present ever.

I was stood on the prom freezing me knackers off to direct people to the Lifeboat and all I could see down the road were Leythers!

I just want to say a big thank you to all the Leigh fans for making the day a fantastic 1 despite the result for us obviously but what a great game and no one can argue that you are worthy winners of the 2011 Northern Rail cup. Lets hope we meet in many more finals in the Future. Congratulations

We were on the Fax bus that stayed behind waiting for stragglers and we watched every coach leave. Congrats and acknowledgement was shown to all Leigh supporters leaving and they returned the compliment (except 1 Leigh fan that was obviously hungry, as he was gesturing eating a hotdog I think) .
Well done to both sets of fans for a wonderful, friendly, fun day out. Couldn't do anything about the weather, but that's British summer seaside weather for you, that was the only dampener on the day. Even though we lost the result, we didn't lose the game. Both teams did themselves proud and were a fine advertisement for Championship Rugby.
Super League and it's extra money doesn't necessarily mean extra entertainment. Fantastic day out for all, well done players and supporters of both sides

Another story i forgot as well, late last night about 8 of us were walking down to a pub in the town centre and there was a lady in Leigh gear outside on here own, we started giving it the Who are ya? and all that and she started giving it back, by the time we got there we were singing Leigh songs and she was singing Fax song(yes song lol) and we all hugged,chatted and jumped about when we got to her.
