Thanks to those that have taken the time to reply with a bit of info.

I've now found out the current directors and shareholders.

I note evryone else's comments - I think it pretty much answers all to say that I have the best interests of the club at heart.

Quick answers to some of the posts:

1. I'm going to contact Trevor/club

2. If Arthur Thomas put the loans in personally then fine - my worry, I've not seen or heard this, is that he may have put the loans in to the club from the company - these loans may be payable on demand/may not.

If the liquidator appointed to the comany(ies) calls in them loans then how much are they? That could potentially put the club under (insolvent)

Do I have the right to ask the question? Do I have the right of an answer? Well I wouldn't put a penny in before I knew.

3. I presume the issue is money going forward - I'd basically hate for people to put money into the club, be it £500 or £50,000, then the club go into administration/liquidation

again - i've note heard anything saying that they will etc - but from what info that has been released - it's serious

we've seen examples of many sports clubs recently having a winding up petition entered against them by hmrc - therefore i asked if any money was outstanding to them

4. If the club is in such a mess - and with the SL rules being altered - it may be best that it went into admin/liquid? This could allow any historic debts to be wiped out and for a purchaser/fans to take the club on "with the slate clean" through a new co - that could have the purchaser/fan structure

It may not be the best option - but if the lease that the club has signed with the LSV is so onerous then maybe it would be better to be able to re-negotiate?

I would be willing to put money in. I wouldn't be a 'white knight' but could contribute for the next couple of years both financially and practically.

As I said before I put money in I'd want the answer to my questions and the ones that others have posted.

Did I think I'd get all of the answers on here - no but thought it may prompt the club to release info as the club appears to have responded to ideas/suggestions on here before. Also want to raise the issues with people - not to be negative but to highlight that we, the fans, need to know what the hell is going on

The person posting the questions knows that as well Nik , so the only reason for asking is to attempt to put doubt in other peoples minds , those that might be considering helping the club by joining LISA , as you suggest , any serious investors will ask those questions , and as long as they can prove they are able to back up their interest , I'm sure they will get the answers they seek

Posts like that are blatant attempts to sabotage genuine plans to help the club

MJC... the question remains unanswered that if you like the answers, are you going to invest a huge amount of money in the club? If so, then I hope you get answers you like.

If not, then it's not really your concern is it?

I think there is 1 VERY important point you make. Did AT put the money in via inter company loans (it would make sense, otherwise he would have had to pay personal income tax then put the money in from his own money)? If this is the case I would think that creditors who are owed money from his folded company could call in the loans to the club, which would be very serious indeed.

I entirely agree, but unless the club wants to be forthcoming on the subject then there isn't much point in speculating, is there?

Right I might regret this one , but I was told , his investement in Leigh Centurions was personal , not via his company , This was not a rumour , I have no reason not to believe who told me

That is all I will say , as that it the main concern that might put people off contributing

SN - see my post could put some in but it would proably equate to less than AT put in in a week. Yes it's my concern as i dont want the club to go under

I suppose my questions then (last ones), which i'll ask Trevor but which people may well know:

1. how much do we need to raise?
2. By when?
3. Do we talk about a plan B?

I'll be there sunday and encouraging others to attend

MJC - thanks for reappearing after the original post. From the little I have seen you seem to have a genuine interest in helping the club which is great. Welcome on board its going to be a crazy ride!

The point being you were never going to get the answers you posted , on here , all you were going to do is put doubt in the minds of people who we need to help the club RIGHT NOW , if you really did want answers to those questions all you had to do was ring the club and ask to speak to either Keith Freer,Phil Coffey or Trevor Barton

If you are reasonably intelligent , genuine concerned fan , that is what you would have done , if you want to help further you are welcome to help us encourage fans to sign up for LISA , as contributions to that will not be abused as they will be only given to the club in stages as required , therefore that money cannot be abused
