Thats a rather large break even point and one you are never going to hit anywhere other than SL.
If those figures are true then moving to the LSV may well be the biggest mistake your club has ever made. The only Club to play in this division recently and hit that kind of average was Cas, and fair play to them they have 4.5k -5k die hard fans. Leigh, I think in the early 2000's your crowds may have come close to that figure. But the interest is not there at this level anymore since the RFL want it run as a beefed up reserve league for SL players.
If you dont get a big backer like Widnes did i would advise trying to take a hand as a supporters trust.

Totally unrealistic even doing well in SL these days with none or little travelling species from London, Wales and France we would be lucky to average 4k over a full season.

As you well know one mans business's have gone under and thats had a knock on effect on the club. |

All expenditure should be based on realistic attendances only, not pie in the sky presumptions.
If 4000 is break even with a full compliment of staff, then what is the breakeven required just to pay LSV.
If it's 2500 then the whole situation is not sustainable.

So who signed us up to the bad deal at the LSV???
Who has given staff and players contracts that we will be unlikely to meet before the end of the season.
Buisnesses dont just go and wealthy buisnessmen nine times out of ten dont suffer when they do infact on the contray its nomally in there personal favour to pull plugs take the money and run especially when nearing retirement age.
It will be intresting how public opinion will differ once the true facts are put on the table and the smoke clears.

The deal for the LSV was a ' take it or leave it deal ' , it was made quite clear to the board at the time , that if we did not sign up to go into the LSV stadium , the council would make Hilton Park unusable , the next time you drive along the by pass look at the fence that has been erected on the old leigh east site , imagine that fence with Hilton Park next to it
It would have reduced the capacity of Hilton park to 1,000
