Exactly what I thought about Fax after having completed 2 grand finals and won one of them. Our crowds increased by about 800 and the RFL patted us on the head like little children. 8 crappy games into the 2011 season and it's all unravelled like a cheap Primark jumper.
One good thing in my opinion though - despite your Arthur Thomas news and how it must have sent panic into the hearts of every Leigh fan - you're still top dog and there's nothing quite like the feeling of being one of the top PERFORMING clubs in the league - despite the cul de sac that awaits you at the end. They can't take that feeling away from you. I wish I was back where I was 12 month ago because it's crap being crap.
Just read why the Fev Chairman almost quit. Kind of feel for him - pumping all that money in. The RFL are going to kill off the game at this level. They're going to choke off the investment that these Chairmen put in.
