Must admit the most unlikely team I thought we'd be having a derby match 'anytime soon' would have been PNE, Then again just look who the chairmen is these days

Was hoping Fev would have this as a 7.30PM kick off, they did move it a hour back but not far enough for me to make it (unlike Leigh who kindly moved a 3PM fixture to 12PM meaning we could take in the Barrow and Lincoln games on friday ).

BLIMEY! I've just watched the game on Blip (cheers Fred) and no-one mentioned how good the last try was! 11 passes from left to right and back to left! Amazing!

Just watched it myself - amazing handling - almost in the same class (but not quite!) as "Wide to West!"

The kick was awesome as well...it was virtually on the touchline and Mick was virtually in the stands when he started his preparation...cool as a cucumber though. Must have been great to be behind the sticks and watch it sail over.
