Well a Leigh fan said good game to me,and we had abit of banter about the game,nice and friendly like it should be. Dont go think all fans are the same cos what i saw after the game you have your fair share of nutters too.

Halifax did a brilliant job of seperating the fans at there place,till after the game when both sets of fans came out of the same gate,was there any bother? No,none at all!!

You'd probably have to blow her up first.

as i left the ground i was approached by an older fev fan and told tof@ck off back to wigan,i simply smiled back a him at which point he became even more abusive and threatened to "kill me".I got in my car and he banged on he roof and spat a the windsceen,at which point his mate pulled him away.while i understand thar 99% of fev fans are decent and friendly fans the club have got to do something about the aggressive behaviour of the minority.

Nice. And if you'd have got out of your car and flattened him you'd be in the wrong. You did well to rise above this idiot mate. Nothing against Fev fans specifically but incidents like this anywhere should be investigated.

Its all a case of 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. It was started 10metres away from me behind the sticks and and finished half an hour later.
Simple as that really, shouldnt have happened but it did, nobody was seriously hurt, although there were a few close calls near the coaches with a Fev fan chucking a glass, just missing a Leyther.

Still undefeated, they didnt put 50 past us and its now clear that Leigh Centuri'O'ns are the team to beat this year. Well done lads.

Every team has got a bad minority of fans but Fevs bad minority is truly scum. Thats the reason most Fax fans will watch the semi final on tv rather than go and support the team over there. Sad day when RL comes to that.

Dont know how it started but it ended in the ground, the fans were intermingled on the way out and no trouble till the gates, 1 Leigh fan with a white Leigh T-shirt on and wore glasses didnt appear to want to leave and was being led out by stewards but didnt take the hint and kept coming back in, then no one wanted to leave nor get on their bus, a lot of what happened couldve been prevented if fans wouldve got on the bus

Pretty accurate description really, I was walking behind the sticks when it kicked off. It was started by people throwing ale at fev fans on the way out, one took exception (as you would) and a few skinny leythers got a slap, which to be honest I do not think they were expecting. I and a few others broke this incident up although one Leigh fan in particular seemed intent on carrying it on. You may know him? Tall skinny, dark cropped hair, glasses, was wearing a white top with a diagonal blue and red strip on it. And as you said it escalated from this.

Its a shame the idiots did not do what the majority of your fans did and face the pitch and applaud your players for a great comeback.

thecaptain - Please get in touch with Featherstone & Leigh with descriptions of who it was, so the club can crack down on this behaviour.
