Truth is if Leigh had exacuted there plays better in the first half when near the Fax line we would have gone in 20 odd points up , today we played well and scored some brilliant trys but there is still room for improvement and when the team play for 60, 70 mins i instead of 40 we will run up some massive scores , this is the best team ive watched at Leigh for years and we have some great young players coming through im sure we will win the final at Blackpoo and get to the G. Final really good team spirit showing through and excellent coaching from Ian Millward, Paul Rowley and the rest of the coaching staff, i expect we will see a improvement in plays ect ect which is frightening, when we started to play the ball faster in the second half today fax could,nt live with Leigh once the guys improve the time they spend in that part of their game wow cant wait..

well we won, and that will do for me, but being a perfectionist, we can certainly play a lot better than we did today, but fax no matter their league position are always going to be tough, a leigh team in the past would of panicked at 10 all at ht, but not this mob. We just got stuck in and showed some real nice touches, i agree with frank chris hill is so poor its shocking

A tough place to go and for me Fax looked fine, it was a good Leigh win.
In that 2nd period we have been steamrolling teams based on our better fitness yet Fax kept at it and got 2 tries right at the end.

This tough fixture list of playing the (with respect to the other clubs) top Championship clubs is making us battle hardened and should hopefully help us set up a great platform for the next part of the season.

If someone had told me we'd be unbeaten after the NRC group we found ourselves in and the fixtures we have been given in the start of the Championship I'd have snapped there hands off.

TBH and whilst I couldn't go but watching the game last night on DVD I thought we were a little behind where we have been all season, now whether thats down to 1. Coping with a fast attacking side like Fax, 2. The lack of two 'core' players for so long requiring others having to put in more game time, 3. The hard schedule of games that have been thrown at us. I couldn't say, but at times the intensity was lacking a bit and we had to scramble more in defence than what appeared normal, but whatever I'll take winning and not playing our best.

This pretty much sums it up for me. I thought Leigh had an off day and i thought we actually rasied our game.

Thrilled with the win but I also thought we didn't play our best which i might add makes the win better considering who we were playing ,Fax are known for their attacking play so didn't surprise me when they came back. On the Ref well least said the better only I will say that the pen he gave us for the holding down of Nanyn which took an age for him to award, now I thought that it should have been classed as a professional foul with it being so close to the try line and Fax did it so they could get back in the defence line so the pen helped them really to get back and defend because if they had released him right away we would have scored i'm sure

next to last try (ours) - did the ball go between the uprights for the conversion???? looking at the DVD I'm not convinced

For us? Not too sure, but as your Dave said in the commentary the last one seemed a more likely candidate!
