It has to be, they wouldn't make such a fuss with teaser trailers and all that if it wasn't something major. Plus Hemmings said all will be revealed at the end of the month, which coincidentally is license announcement time.
So who is gonna give way? Wakefield are goners for sure. Castleford or maybe Salford. That stadium at Barton is never going to be built, even if they have mown the grass a bit.
Wish this much fuss was made about the true heartlands of rugby league.

To me it's quite obviously the SL select international team for the confirmed mid season friendly.
Tbh have found it quite astonishing all the rubbish some people have cone up with guessing! Or is that just a sign of how we see what the RFL does now? I.e. Could be anything?!

That seems to be the general consensus although I've not seen anything confirmed yet.
The other viable possibility I heard was that the 'E' on the image was from "Exiles" - a team of SL-based foreign players who would play England in a mid-season international friendly.
Either way I can't see it being an Edinburgh franchise, although nothing surprises me in RL anymore?!
