Looks like tom hemingway is turning out at post office road this sat. I don't know much about him, how do you lot rate him ?

I can see why fans of fevs opponents might rejoice as their clubs will have to face a team without Briggsy and that's fair enough. But Daryl is looking to plug the gap with quality so hopefully we will still be the business.

Although Hemingway come down from SL this level seems to suite him best. When he was on loan to us he went well & he should do well for you too.

Exactly it's one thing having money / cap available it's another thing finding players to fill the space... There's a reason Bulls paid bug money for Briggs & Hull offering a lot for Sammut!

i didnt rate him at all when he was at leigh tbh but in his defence he was playing in a bad team with players he didnt get time to know and i think watto was the main half back and it meant hemingway wasnt able to do his stuff. He may go well in a good fev side but one thing's for sure, he's nowhere near as good as briggs

I did see this a few months back when it was first said Briggs could be on his way out. Still lives round there I believe, be shocked if Barrow let him go this late but sure a few £K wouldn't go a miss!
