Well if you realise now 'how weak it was' I wouldn't bother about belittling the victor (who also had maybe 3 missing). I'd be more worried about the season to come. A few injuries and you'll be struggling

I’m not worried one bit Matey! i think we'll do just fine this year, And I’m not belittling you it’s just when you have people from this board going on 6 separate forums telling people how you beat a Super League team making us sound worse than we are, it’s called defending your team. |

The result shows Leigh 13 Salford 12, so you still have to prove you will do fine. Obviously because its on so many boards, your team WAS held in higher esteem than usual, a compliment I think. Maybe the players aren't the problem though.

10 first teamers? are you joking? out of our starting 13 we would have for super league we had Matty smith, Jodie broughton, Chris Nero, Wayne Godwin and Steven Wild. so thats 5 first team starters who have never played together before apart from matty smith and jodie broughton the rest are fringe players who make up the squad or reserves even then only matty smith had a full game out of them 5 the rest were only on for 10 20 min spells, we had two players brought in from folly lane on trails, our first team would of been.

You not understanding me lad? Rob parker, Luke Adamson, Luke Patten, Vinnie Anderson, Feka, Phil Bailey, Mark Henry, Dainel Holdsworth, Ray Cashmere didn’t play so that’s prob half of our salary cap not playing the game so how can you come out with that comment! |
