Just spoken with Graham @ Smart Fireworks, about something completely unrelated funnily enough, but we got onto the subject of the lights switch on.

He was telling me that the fireworks they're doing will be a "Full Pyro Musical", 4 times bigger than normal!

One not to miss fro the sounds of it!

Was in the town centre yesterday, noticed there didnt appear to be no where near as many lights this year, unless of course they were still putting them up still at that time, which is cutting it short

saw the fireworks from a distance whilst taking the dog to the vets and they certainly looked spectacular

I thought it was all the bulbs blowing.

Went up Leyth tonight wiv my lil lad. Absolutely loved it! I went last year with him and enjoyed it. But this year was even better (except from the start time for the parade! Mad rush to get there from work for 5.45 and just made it). The fireworks were the best i've seen for a good few years. And think the Centurions put in a good showing.
Don't know why Shandy Bass got up though.... WOT A PR!CK.
They make out he's Leigh's number one fan, yet he doesn't even go effin watchin! Never seen him once at LSV!
But anyway, well done to all concerned

cheers jacko, dead chuffed you enjoyed the display, we were asked to blow them away so we tried our best. Unfortunatly the pa was not available to all so some couldnt tell it was to music, ah well never mind.

them fireworks were superb great show.a lady said she couldnt hear the kids singing on the mikes,system needed to be more powerful i think.anyway a very big well done to everyone involved, very good night
