I've got a team photo on my wall from 1971 of the team wearing a shirt with a vee and always presumed it was a red vee, though no ideas on why it was the case as I'm not as old as you or Fred  |

yes the home team did have to change, we have played with a red vee, my recollections of a blue v could well be affected by the amount of Double Diamond I used to consume in those days (for all you pups DD was a real gradely drink and Manns brown ale (mmmm) not this knatts pee that passes for lager these days - then again who remembers Grunhaller (sp) now that was cr*p)
