Guys, can anyone tell me if there are any places to stay in or around Atherton.
Had a look on Premierinn & Travelodge to no avail.
Any info would be appreciated.

In the same way that Hackney Carriages (ie. black cabs) are legally obliged to carry a bale of hay?!
Doubt either of those laws would be enforced these days though, eh?! | | | |

You mean like killing Welshmen in Chester (and Scotsmen in York) is legal - but only with a bow & arrow? Or pregnant women being allowed to p*ss in a copper's helmet??
You might be right......from what I can gather off t'interweb, a lot of pubs called themselves 'Hotel' or 'Inn' to get round the Sunday licensing laws, especially in Wales and Scotland, where a lot of places were 'dry' on Sundays!! | | |
