Irlam is Salford.
I heard it in work on Chapel St in Salford. Was also heard in Didsbury, Prestwich, Chorlton etc.

Brad in my other posts was stating how often the beeb mix things up and wondered if frank knew , sorry if you misconstrued that to be me joking about the whole situation . People that know me on here know that I'm not the type of person to joke about such a matter .

Wasn't suggesting that you had said anything wrong Gaz - was just concerned that the thread may head off in that way when we weren't sure of the seriousness of the incident.

The older lady who was the most serious had 30% burns and was downgraded from serioursly ill to comfortable. The rest of the injured are expected to leave hospital tonight. Thank god for this result as looking at the pictures they were very lucky. I am an electrician by trade and our teacher at college used to say that electricity is the most dangerous because you can't smell, see or taste it but when to touch it, it can kill you. I don't know now after seeing what is left of those houses.
