Its a difficult one (and would be easier to do in SL), but my belief is that if Leigh RFC are to grow, then we need to change the mindsight of trying to fill the ground with only people from Leigh. the best way to do that is to play the odd game in neutral areas (in Boltons case I would argue that there is a mutual friendship between the two towns).
What Sale are trying to do is grow their business by attracting union fans from all over the north west - and by starting in an area with no RL. There are a lot of posh northerners in the NW who would side with union to dissociate themslelves from the working classes. What Leigh need to do is trying and get the vast market of the Bolton area watching Leigh.
I think Leigh need to show some pro-activeness with targetting Bolton as it would be a big box ticker with the RFL. Cas and Wakey don't have such a large potential catchment area like Leigh do
