See!!! All the club has to do is design a poster before home games (or ask one of us to do it) then post a link to it on our forum. We print them off and get them stuck up before every home game.

Surely its worth a try as it is free and is so easy to do. The club needs to start realising that our forum is a massive asset, only 5 other clubs get more replies on rlfans, surely we should start to use this to our advantage. |

How's about to start the ball rolling, anyone willing to help us on this poster distribution, can you please e-mail me on andrew@leighrl.co.uk
I can then start to build a deidcated mailing list, and once we get the posters rolling again (there'll be a few for some events coming up in the off season) we can distributing far and wide. |

The key to idea's like this is to continue doing them , they will not instantly add fans to the gate on their own
It needs several ideas used continually for years to make any reasonable difference
Unfortunatley that tends not to happen |

Posters need to support a clear message/strategy/strap line from the club, dont put the cart before the horse like we normally do.

My home town small soccer team (not even Blue Star League!) advertise their forthcoming fixtures (home and away) and second team games on an A4 sheet inj the club colours (blue and white) and put them on the notice boards at Booths, Tesco and Sainsburys plus all the local barbers shops and as many other prominent places as they can get. At least that way people will know that we HAVE a rugby team and they will know when they are on every week.
