just read an article in there, that says just us and the Scorpions are the only clubs that have dual reg players that will be able to play in playoffs. All three Wire players are eligable.

I noticed the scorpions bit. 5 DC players? Here we go again, one rule for one....Oldham won't be happy if they get knocked out of the play offs by them.

It's about time we ditched the DR. It only benefits SL clubs. I was sceptical at first but they all played very well and I thought I had been proved wrong, however, now that they have their contract with Wire (ie: Mitchell/McCarthy) those 2 don't seem bothered. However, Emmitt has played well every time.

I know Leigh don't have a lot of money and are having problems with the RFL re academy set up but I am a Leigh supporter not a Wire or Saints fan. I want to see Leigh players or players signed on a full contract playing for Leigh.

It must irk players to be dropped for a DR player when they have played well the week before. I hope we put 17 players out against Sheffield none of whom are DR players.

What a load b****cks some of you lot talk, i'm a warrington lad, and know all 4 of the Dual Reg's(went to school with Mitch). If you actually think any of them aren't bothered and are unprofessional enough not to put the effort in then its a shame you dont get to speak to them...Do you really think Tony Smith would have re-signed them all if that was the case

If you watch Mitch & Mccarthy defensively they work just as hard as the rest of them and dont get taken off after 15 mins!! Leighs game plan (??) doesn't suit their style, thats not their fault it the coaches choice. and yes maybe you have't had the chance to see them at their best, a couple of them have been carrying injuries..
All the lads are a great bunch and having spoken to a of them after Batley they were all gutted...

I agree no one goes out on a rugby field and doesn't try especially when a 'parent' club gets to see a DVD of their game every week, these lads are getting the best of both worlds and coached by perhaps two of the best around, McCarthy has been asked to do a role he isn't too comfortable at due to our injuries, I personally would thank them for the effort this season.

Agreed. The dual lads have been a credit to themselves, to Leigh and to their parent clubs. I am really glad we signed them.
