Does not even things up as Batley have a average attendance (last year) of less than a thousand, this means we have to sign players, pay wages working to that budget. We do not have money men in charge just people who work hard as a team for the club, our team has a few individuals that may go higher but again our success is not based round the money spent it is based round all the players working together as a team.

If we averaged 2 thousand a match we would certainly be up there with the top 2/3 teams.

But don't most other sports, have something definite to play for. Maybe the championship clubs should forget SL altogether and make the Championship a comp in its own right. I have no idea how, but something needs to be done
