Your wrong Nik I have never wanted SL at Leigh until we are ready, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't take it if we deserved to be there, and at the moment we are as good as chance/bet as any other, and whilst guaranteed 3 years in it does give time to consolidate.

Why do the RFL not sanction Harlequins (and I suppose Wigan but one can hardly blame them) when the Wigan CEO is allowed to have a controlling interest in both clubs, clearly against RFL rules and when they were warned two years ago, and 2. Why are Crusaders or why were they allowed to be run by TWO controlling companies during the close season again clearly against RFL rules, and 3. Why no 'punishment' from the RFL to The original welsh team for fielding illegal players for THREE years. 4. Why were the RFL allowed to alter the funding 'rules' AFTER the inclusion of Toulouse.

Are you that far removed from RL reality to know that what is happening at Blackpool could happen to 99% of all Championship and Champioship 1 clubs not to mention 75% (if not 100%) of SL clubs.

So who is to blame? the blame lies squarely at all the member clubs in the RFL in putting up with all the carp coming out of red hall, but they are scared of getting together in case they get labelled 'trouble makers' and the holy grail of SL is snatched from their grasp.
The RFL as an organisation are doing some great work especially at the ground level, but that begs the question WHY when there is already an organisation in place to do that, BARLA, but that is a completely different can (more like a barrel) of worms that will be opened in the not too distant future I fear.
