I'm sure your defeat to us last night was just a blip, i've seen you 3 times this season and been very impressed, granted you have some more DR players but your own players aren't too shabby either.
We had the same scenario last time out against toulouse, we were sluggish and let them get under our skins, we weren't tired though we were poor. I don't buy the too tired thing though, they are all fit sportsmen and you had more time off since your last match than you'd have between a sunday game followed by a sky match.
That said i'm quite certain that both clubs are suprising all the rest with our starts and I for one can see it being us two at the end of the season bunfight.
Good luck Sunday though you won't need it, haven can't tackle full stop and after a couple of quick tries their heads go down, you'll hammer them.

Some fans are moaning about stanton ie. weak in defence/hi-ball/no trys
anybody playing on the left wing alstead/stanton will not get many trys.

Stanton work rate was very good last nite look at the yards the team makes after stanton as took the ball in 9 time out off 10 he wins the floor and get a fast P.T.B maden made an half break off the last nite and also at bradford.
imo he should be on the righ wing maden a chance last nite and cut back inside.

But thats the thing with the DCs of the standard we have. Any of them can be called into their SL teams squad at any time. Their club has first call, which must make it difficult for Basil coaching wise. It would be nice if the SL team could gaurantee the player won't be used by them for the rest of the season, but it just isn't going to happen

Recalled and played I have no issue with, recalled and not played cant be good for them or us.
ie what is the policy, bring them into the squad for experience of game day only or to play them.

What is the policy, ask the RFL. Basically we are expected to be grateful of the opportunity (which I am sure we are) and live with the obvious inconvenience. We've been far luckier than some who have tried to take advantage of this system...Widnes I think being a case in point. Noticed Ainscough will be missing for the next 3 weeks for offences not even committed whilst playing for Widnes

You could put the best winger in the world on the the left wing and he would not get any ball/kicks alstead and stanton only get the ball from D/H are going 1st man at the PTB.

Shawshank do you watch the same Leigh team, we use the full length of the pitch on both sides and the backs see plenty of the ball, they usually dont have the pace or guile to get through!
