Home now and able to type properly.
There was 4 leythers there, plus two more who travelled as guests of the club, and another handful of friendly expats who were at the Toulouse game, one of them an honourary member of the Salmon Army. If you're reading, good to meet you again.
I've got to give a huge thanks to a fella called Brian who gave us a lift back to Carcassonne straight after the game. He's a Leyther and a Pompey fan, but for him we would not have got to montpellier last night which meant we had half a chance of getting home today.
If anyone knows him, please pass on my thanks.
Cracking performance under the circumstances, bear in mind they took nigh on 24 hours to get there and arrived at the hotel at 4am. Limoux were a well drilled dangerous team too, big tough and typically French. It would not have been an easy game even with good preparation. Honestly, dont underestimate how tough a game Limoux gave us and how well the lads did to turn it round on a hot day.
The Limoux folk were maginficent with us, though I doubt Warren Turley will be welcome for a bit!
I'll say no more on that - what happened in France stays in France
Right, bed time for me becuase I'm shattered and I can smell my feet from 6 feet away.
