Couple of things as a SL outsider.
1) yes, your tickets are too expensive, the family stand idea was a cracking one complete with say chips and a drink for a quid if you could swing it?
2) There's a new gym opened on site hasn't there? Businesses like these are great opportunities. Im not saying this would earn you thousands, im not a marketing guru but hypothetically say they have 2000 members (Warrington has 4800 so its not a random number just made up), agree a joint marketing initiative, where you could hopefully offer advertising space (any businesses in Leigh that attract large numbers) in exchange for marketing in their firm, local radio, big stores etc.
3)
Quote The core principles of the wonderful franchise system 18 months into it are still sadly missing. Where are all the youngsters being promoted at these bottom clubs who dont need to worry about relegation? How many overseas players now play in SL in 2010 compared to 2008? When the answers to those questions are of a positive nature then just maybe the franchise system might work.

That's just codswallop and so badly researched it's untrue.
I can't be bothered finding the figures but it's a lot less overseas players and more juniors. Castleford in 2008 fielded many juniors and got beat most weeks only for this largely British based side to feature in the playoffs come 2009. Warrington have gone from 9 to 5 in two years and okay Quins and Salford are languishing near the bottom but Quins had 2 overseas players in their easter games, yes two; Salford also have few aussies. It's 18 months into a system I genuinely believe is working but time will tell.
