Des "Cob-on" made a complete t*t of himself to be honest - just came across as being childish and a very sore loser - he gave us absolutely no credit whatsoever for giving them a hell of a game (which we bossed for 60 minutes) and blamed the result on Barrow not playing to their full potential!
No class whatsoever - very unsportsmanlike.
Basil was not impressed at all - I'll tell you one thing, I bet he gets the boys well fired up for the return leg in July!

Priceless. Coming from the fans who have recently had a new thread about Widnes 'Rent-a-Vikings' almost daily recently.
Des Johnstone's attitude will not serve the Barrow club in the long term. He craves instant success and woe betide anyone who fails to deliver. We'll have to wait and see how this season transpires but the 'champions' are definitely not going to have things all their own way this year. |

Had wrote longer but internet went off lol.
Basically Dez has no class and doesn't join in the spirit of the game... said to have give the Ref at our match 2 weeks back an ear bashing... changing what?
Yes he's helped Barrow get to where they are but would fans admit it was SOLEY him? I guess not. Dave Clark great coach yet leaving because of how Dez has treated him?
I think he thinks he much much more important than anyone in this Sport things he is tbh!
