They knocked the wall through into the shop next door to make it bigger. I think the shop was a butchers. Not sure though.

I remember the Globe when the bar was a window and there were car seats on beer crates in the tap room.

good pub or bad, as a fan of the traditional british pub, any pub that closes is cause for concern and sadness.

I heard it was closing but didn't know it was going to be changed to something else. I guess places like Thomas Burke and Goose have underpriced them.

trouble is when pubs close like this its normally down to one thing, not enough people using them.
