the smokers may be happy but what about the non smoking members of staff or smoking members for that matter? It is their working environment, smoking is not allowed in the work place. The smoking ban was not primarily about those who smoke it was introduced to protect the workforce.

Even as a smoker I have tp agree with Wayne its not nice to inflict smoke upon people that don't use it , you wouldn't want a smack rat shooting up in a place where you were in would you ? no its just common decency



I have managed to cope by buying an electronic cig its ideal for taking to the pub / resteraunt when its to cold or wet to go outside in a backyard



Its double handy for taking to the Footy or the Rugby though just for some of the looks you can get when you use it as it glows at the tip like a cig and you blow pretend smoke out ( a vapour ) and it really pees the stewaeds off



Once the people sat around you suss its not real even non smokers want to know how it works , does it work and you get a bit of respect for not ruining someones day plus I get my nicotine fix without bothering anyone



Cost me £20 same as the price of 3 packs of cigs so though theres always one who think they can light up

I had an electronic cigggie at the England v Oz game at Elland Rd. Four stewards on different occassions came to my seat and told me to put it out before they realised. Bus drivers do the same too sometimes.

Heard today that this country are looking changing the laws on smoking again, too many pubs etc shutting down etc, heard they are going to do like they do in Spain and leave it up to each individual landlords. Most in Spain allow smoking.
I think if there two rooms then surely one could have smoking the other not. Have smokers working behind the bar.

Quite frankly I don,t think it's smoking that is the problem although most smokers are used to going outside to light up these days.

It is more the price of beer compared to the price you pay for alchohol in supermarkets.

Not a chance in the world about the No Smoking policy being revoked............Got a whiff of a Gov Notice regards tv/Radio licenses etc in public areas... ie the the workplace/staff restrooms etc and unless a employer obtains a specific license for said media in that area then its a no no.........
