| First thing to be done is leigh and the sports village to get on the same page. Last year we had a perfect oppotunity to attract new fans with the brand new stadium but i think the chance was wasted due mainly to the sports village. It quickly did become a laughing stock.
Now we have the chance again to get media attention and attract new fans with basil and robbie people will want to watch but its when they do come they have to be treated right. The rugby club rent the stadium so we are customers of LSV so they should be doing anything they can to accomidate fans and the club. Last season they didnt.

| We could market last year as one of many mistakes and a great learning curve for both LRL nad LSV.
Now the lessons have been learned, we are really launching our bid for SL - support facts, player investmentr, coach investment, business club, rebranded LISA and fantastic offers for the loyal fans who paid for the carp served up last year

| Quote leythdave="leythdave"Didnt the club offer a reduction scheme on last seasons ST's, for no one to be interested?
Do you think they should try it again, or do as the fans did, and not bother?'"
They did
U 11's free
U 16's £50
Adult £140
We paid only £190 for 3 seats in the main stand, however with the lack of home games and the ridiculous fixture scheduling, it still didn't feel like value for money.

| There are so many positives flying around at the minute it would be a crying shame to not take advantage of the fortunate position we find ourselves in for a change.
Crowds must be improved upon the back of all this good news/signings/coach etc....
The pricing element of refreshments at the LSV does need addressing and they would surely sell more (at a reduced margin obviously) but that means they can demand cheaper prices from suppliers if the level of orders increase significantly.
Sell cheaper goods = Sell more stock =more happy customers that will return week after week ...simples

Well its in the LSV financial interests to look at this, its a simple business equation surely.
Who do we go to then to address this then (yes I know it must be LSV ) but does anyone have a direct contact to put these concerns to?

Go on the LSV website, and there is a contact us option.

Thanks Fred..

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to question the prices of drinks and food that I have experienced upon my many visits to the LSV last year.
I (and all of the people I speak to regarding this issue) think that £2.70 for a small pie and £3.00 for a pint is to be honest well over what should be charged, and in my opinion is restricting the amount of snacks/drinks that you sell.
Surely if the prices were more in line with the local economy, you would not only sell more, therefore giving you better negotiating power with the supplier, but the end users (us as customers) would not feel like we have had our pants taken down and royally given a good hiding on the rear end after every visit to you.
This is Leigh lancashire, not Los angeles, and we need to watch what we spend as supporting a team like Leigh Centurions can be costly as I am sure you are well aware in the current climate.
The complex next door to you Leigh east, is always busy on a match day because the food is good and well priced, and this is being done on your doorstep and I personally think you are missing a trick. Sell food at COMPETITIVE prices= Sell more of that food and get happier customers through the door eating and drinking whilst inside the LSV and not its surrounding areas.
I await your response.
