yeh your correct, the ground does look good on tv because thats whats important. I agree with mark phillips, the report mentioned wigan more than leigh. Millwards come back because he gets on the tv more over here.

for goodness sake could someone actually tell us what was said (about Leigh not Wigan!)

He mentioned our ground and was asked about his family and then about tomorrows game against Australia.

He was complimentary about AT and there were a few snatches of Knowsley Rd.

Wasn,t a lot said to be honest seemed to be over before it started.

Have to agree however our stadium looked impressive.

Thanks Frank! I gathered that there was not really much substance to it given the very vague comments on here. No "news" as such. I suppose the club is waiting for the Gateshead debacle to be resolved.

Still, its good to get profile for the club via him appearing on TV, and showcase the ground a bit as well..

Think they were more interested in his career really and the 4 nations.

I'm more bothered about him getting us playing good entertaing RL no matter where we are playing

The stadium did look good, although some of the footage they used was old stuff from well over a year back, before the perimeter boards were put in.

That's exactly what I said Starbug, he's taking a big risk coming to Leigh cos if it doesn't work out for him his career could be finished. He'd never get another Super League job if he can't work his magic with Leigh.
Having said that, given the circumstances, he's putting his money where his mouth is and I hope it works out for all of us.
