The Lions can select from the entire amateur game not just the BARLA affiliated leagues, hence there being players selected from Bramley, he RAF, Warrington Wizzards, St Albans and Telford.
It gets very confusing though and BARLA have never really seemed keen on the Community Lions idea.
I'm sure someone will post a more thorough answer, thats just my understanding of it.
Well done to those players though - perhaps Leigh aren't going to make a move for Gary Phillips afterall - he's a good hooker though!
I notice former Leigh A Teamer Darren Fletcher is also Asst Coach.
