Re the Labour Party I think the minimum wage made a lot of sense amongst other things.

These kind of newspapers won't be around in a few years time. When you want to read what is going on in the world you don't want bias opinions.

Reduction of waiting lists for most medical conditions
Reinstatement of significant employment rights
Gender and race equality legislation
Abolition of hereditary peerage dominance of the Upper House
Expansion of nursery and pre school education provision

I could go on but there is probably no point as people only vote on headlines.

Most of those - the voters couldn't give a rats ass about. It's their wallet which will swing them from one party to another and most people's are empty at the moment.

So without the minimum wage, people would be better off? Good logic there!

I think their greatest achievement is being in power during the longest and most succesful economic boom period in living memory, and then not having a pot to p1ss in the day it finished.

It takes some doing does that.

How many of the populaton does that affect? Taxes affect EVERYONE, as does the general state of the economy.
