Look at it this way I don't think Wigan Council need the bad press of evicting an amateur rugby club 1 year into it's new home because they've put the bloody rent up already.

The country is in recession which is something the LSV committee seem to have forgotten. They've had some praise from Leigh Centurions recently but they won't be getting any from me.

But is he not the MP for Leigh as well as some big wig in the cabinet. Or do they give up on their constituency when they move to central government? Who is this chief exec who said this and does he or she have any vested interests in the LSV? Is wigan council not a Labour run council and why can an elected MP in the government in power (which is Labour if I'm not mistaken) not have a say in such a matter. The sooner Leigh Borough Council (and nothing to do with Wigan)is brought back the better.

Thanks for the update, but I can't see how these 2 actions are connected with being "evicted"? If Easts have done nothing wrong, what will these actions do as far as Wigan Council are concerned?
