Sounds to me like they've just become very close.

All this sniping and rumour-mongering about Kelly is getting to be a bit much given he was never given the chance to finish what he started.

How many times did we concede 50 or 70 points on Kelly's watch? Where were we in the table when 'Rowls' took over? What was our For and Against before and after he took over? Would make interesting reading.

Looking forward to seeing whether and how the Rowleys will now try to undermine the Millward, the latest arrival in Leigh's ever expanding fleet of coaches.

I think Watto did comment about the young players coming through which is surely testament to Neil as well. In such a tight competition, a couple of runs of losses can make all the difference and Leigh suffered two during the season, but the lack of dedicated gym facilities must have made things difficult for both coaches.
