Probably a bad choice of word, I think the club had lost its way though in terms of fan / club relationships, a succession of own goals/ missed opportunitys IMO which are slowly being rectified.
The dealings of the LSV managment is something you'll know better than most , lets hope they realise that Leigh are one of there main 'customers' and like any customer service industry it pays to keep them happy.
