Please dont make me laugh, Martin Ridyard is nowhere near good enough for this league, IMHO he aint good enough for champ 1.

personally i wouldnt question mr c knowledge of rugby he said one of the best technical kickers he didnt mention attacking or defensive abilities it will be interesting to see how martin develops with some good coaching next season

i could never understand why we played Donlan at 6, when we have Ridyard....

He is a good kicker with ball in hand but he cannot tackle sadly.

When we played Gateshead we were thrashed and one good reason was that practically every time they had the ball they started running directly at him and that was their game plan that day.

That day they ran at the centre and Reay was nowhere leaving Ridyard exposed, he tackled his teds off that day and set up our only line breaks.

Ridyard can play a role that will add more than we have.

FFS it is his first season as a pro, IMHO too much expected of him too soon.

Correct, I dont know him personally like you presumably do? however, whenever he has played I've been impressed. Didn't he drop a decisive goal at Sheffield to help secure the game? The last time I saw him play at LSV he put three marvellous kicks high into the corners which,due to poor support play were not capitalised upon! Paul Rowley seems to be having a few problems with his team at the moment, I'll help you Paul,play Martin Ridyard because,he is quicker,more enthusiastic,excellent field kicker(re-Mr Chairman) and,far better than Ernie (Hemingway) !!

So who else can't tackle? Ridyard dosn't play yet, we still ship pionts for fun!
