Personally I thought the booing was a real shame. It doesnt help them, particularly at half-time. Then again, thats the first game I've seen this season. If this was the culmination of a number of poor performances that I'd shelled out to watch then I'd probably join in as well and therefore can understand why people felt the need to boo.

What I found more idiotic was the level of moaning (my opinion was not helped by the fool in front of me shouting for the Rowleys out after 45 minutes

). The incident that summed it up was when Watson pulled a great interception out to stop a certain try and the crowd went beserk for him not running the length with it



They're largely a bunch of young lads who did put the effort in. There heads ineveitably went down but they came up against a very strong Gateshead side who deserve credit for a job well done.

Your argument doesn't hold water. It's a team game so you boo the team. If we win you cheer and clap because the team won. Next time we win I'll think twice cos I'm only going to clap for the players who played well.

But who ever said he had pace? He did great, then took the right option and set up a quick play. At times today he did very well, at times he didnt. But without him on form we look clueless

Well how about this. Playing players who we know can,t tackle, playing players who have no pace, playing players who are unfit, playing people out of position, playing players who are amateur standard, playing players who aren,t following a game plan cos there isn,t one.

AND stand off how many more seasons before we get one ?

And will that make a difference ? No it,s a lot more than that.

No they are not.

We have 5 or 6 regular first team players with a lot of exerience who are not performing and a few others who are being wrongly singled out. I include Watson, Taylor, and Mort in that bracket.

Donlan, Maden, Stewart, McConnell, Armistead, Smith..........these players look like they are just turning up.

Why, who knows, individualy they are miles better than we are seeing.

In a nutshell, our more experienced players are letting this side down but there is a reason for that and I honestly dont know what.

BOOING my god the majority of them want firing off ive never seen a team for years at LEIGH so bad the fitness and strength of this team is shocking they cant tackle turn players on there back they,re slow as carthorses no idea whatsoever about the basics of RL like following the man in possesion , running angles, players in motion ect ect ect

Well all the diehards on here along with the blind sheep seem to of previously thought there is no problem at the club, probably still don't!!!

But...............the answer has always been in the Boardroom and its about time everyone realised.

It does'nt matter how much money AT has, he is'nt up to running the club, neither is Phil Coffee and the rest of the crew.

All this back slapping and talk of putting your money where you mouth is just makes me chuckle, as has now be proven, AT and his money was never the answer and never will be.
