To be honest, I've watched a lot of McCormacks teams over the last few years. 4 grand finals and a northern rails cup win in 5 years plus a good world cup with Scotland suggests he's an excellent coach at this level. I'm not a leigh supporter but that's my opinion and he'd do a fantastic job. To be honest I rate him above Kelly although I've not seen Leigh play this year.

Put it this way its somebodys fault the team are playing boring yed down
no moves poor defensive RL look at the points for and against
that tells a story If its not the coachin staffs fault it must be the players
who are not of this standard and cant follow game plans..

i agree it is someones fault but why always the outsider?? am not saying it is or isnt rowleys kelly knox(i know he`s a freebie) but its to easy to just say sack the coach how about looking further a field sometimes ..just a thought

If Kelly goes, it will be a real blow, as we won't replace him with the same calibre.

I cannot see the sense in it one little bit, and one or two on here seem to be a little bitter against him.

Why ?

Two reasons probably

a, If your an outsider you have to be an aussie

b, its easy to pin it on a non leyther

would be a disgrace if he was the one to kop for it a real disgrace!!!!!!

Neil Kelly has won two Grand Finals in this divsion with two different teams and he was also 'Super League' coach of the year. I was on the terracing at Halifax in our promotion year when, Leythers were singing and advising the board to appointent Neil Kelly as coach, then!
Neil Kelly is a good coach however, the players we have are not the best so we cannot expect the best. How many of the people were calling for his head after the win at Widnes? Doncaster,Widnes and Sheffield venues that are traditionally difficult places for Leigh to get a result! If this new stand off can influence the team then fortunes may, change. As for Toulouse that was always going to be a tough game, Widnes won't be looking forward to going there,I bet, they'll remember their last visit in the Challenge cup when they were Super League and Toulouse were? Widnes were thrashed by Justin Morgan's team!
