Quote mr. chairman="mr. chairman"two idea's spring to mind , firstly if the price was right it could be turned into a place to go for kids from 12-16 as a meeting place and a place to keep them of the streets , a bit like an up market youth club , these kind of places are becoming very popular in other countries and with goverment baccking could be very popular in many towns , secondly if my first idea was blown out of the water i was thinking of a upmarket resteraunt as there isn't one in leigh and to be honest there might not be money in beer sales but there is certainly money in wine and food'"
I think both are excellent ideas.
However there's not much money to be made in the first (unless you can dip into funding streams, which can be difficult if it's a 'business' rather than a charity) and the second would have to have significant funding behind it, as it would need a long term PR plan which may well mean losing money at first to make money in the long run.
