| Quote Leyther_till_death="Leyther_till_death"I think yesterday showed how important Watson is to our side. We were clueless when he went off. Despite still having the likes of Durbin, Jock, even Marsh or Rourke on the pitch at least one of them should have taken the game by the scruff of the neck but it seemed no one knew were they were playing in relation to 6/7 and 9 so they couldn't.
Hope Watson will be ok and ready for Saturday.'"
Haven't been a big Watson fan to say the least, but we do look sick without him in attack. Defensively, the guy is incredible, often involved in 3 tackles per set! I think he needs runners and a good no.6.

May be we should go in for Briers,we need a quality 6 and Briers at this level would be quality.Might get a few extra through the turnstyles, there is a lot of doom and gloom amongst the fans but this team is not far off becoming a good side.We have not had the same side for 2 games running with injuries.Andy Hobson was a big loss yesterday and the ref gave us jack s**t as usual, penalty count was about 9 to 3.Keep the faith

That is the general tactic for most teams nowadays, when we played Widnes we ran at Webster an awful lot. Watson stands his ground in defence and is a very good tackler for his size and definitely tackles above his weight.

Counted it as 8-5, so it wasn't that bad - well, not 'Laughton-bad' at any rate.

| 'Rumour' has it that Briers was offered to any Co-op club but none could afford him in the salary cap except perhaps Barrow who at that time still had money 'left' it was 'said' that us and Widnes were the first to be offered him but refused as above, thats if you believe rumours,
