Usually like to post a bit earlier but me and Mrs Optimist decided to indulge in a celebratory beer or two.......Yesterday was fantastic! A team of overpaid under achievers versus a young enthusiastic side who have real pride in thier shirts, not the prettiest of games i've got to say but non the less a very valiant performance indeed.
Dave Armitstead is a trojan, he played on one leg and tore Widnes to pieces! Chris Hill was massive (again), no player let the side down, and the fans all through the game where superb, loved the FORWARD chanting
Great response at the end from players and supporters alike, Chris Hill first man over, Dave Armitstead revving the crowd and Morty kissing the badge will live in my memory forever.
Can't wait for monday, please, please give me more of the same. No more moaning and wingeing, get behind the lads, the Leigh support on it's day is like an extra man.
