Quote Leyther14="Leyther14"Yeah they have been used, as they won't get the outcome they want. The countries in voting for Boris has voted for the diminishing of works rights more 0 hours contracts, the continued roll out of universal credit and a prob a no deal Brexit that will have a massive impact on GDP, that will mean businesses will lay people off and drive wages down. Not much there for a younger generation. Statistically more young people voted labour, the older the age group there more you vote Tory, 65+ predominantly so.
Boris has pulled the trick of getting people to vote for the status quo, the same government as has driven austerity for a decade yet has got people to believe they will get change.
Labour definitely got the mood of its heartland wrong and should have promised a Brexit that would keep workers rights and protect jobs. I taking a democratic stance they gave an unclear message and have paid the price. Be interesting to see Boris roll back his promises over the coming years and spin it otherwise.'"
Whats obvious is most have voted regarding Brexit. As you say we don’t really know the deal. It may work, not sure being in the EU actually worked or the people who voted to join in knew what they where voting for at the time.
