Good evening, Charles, hope you are, in turn, hoping for a Leigh win despite your posted prediction.
Bongser was indeed in Blackpudlia this week. One Mrs Hall had engaged him to play The Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer as an accompaniment to a dance-athon into which she had coerced her husband, Craig. Some nice moves from the latter, it has to be said, especially in the slow foxtrot. Said dance-athon finally finished at 4pm today allowing Bongser (and a certain other person) insufficient time to get to the game in Canada!
As to "high atmosphere training", Bongser, like Russ, loves a party with a happy atmosphere. This he and the wurlitzer achieved by popping in and out of the floor, not unlike the witch in "Chorlton & The Wheelies" but bare-buttocked as Monty Python would like it (and indeed one Uncle Monty - thankfully not in attendance).
In his rest breaks (when the more demurely clad ghost of Reginald Dixon took over the manuals & pedals), Bongser took some of the injured Leythe players paddling that they might benefit from the experimental new Lion's Mane Jellyfish Sting Treatment. They should be back to run uphill and down dale next week.
Up The Comics!
PS: The dance-athon raised a total of £3.73 plus four washers, a chewed piece of spiggy, some pre Euro currency and one JB (used). The last entailed the largest single spend!

Good Evening Bongser, I'm sat here alone in Caroli Towers ,the Carolis are all in Wiggin for a family BBQ, even Barney Clubber Lang has gone with them.
So I'm ready for the game to start, on Premier Sports, and I will be cheering the Mighty Leythers on loudly, really hoping for a win, despite my prediction.Last weeks win over Dews was a great week end for me, great weather, even though us gingers burn easily, and I was accompanied by my eldest daughter Danni, she's back with the Family and it was like owd times, another Leyther cheering the lads on.
The Carolis spent yesterday in sunny Blackpool,my Red Nose melted 3 times in the heat, but I'm revived now ready for the game, cmon you Leythers.

| Just back in Vancouver after a 5am rise and a long flight. I swear it took twice as long as the flight going, may have something to do with a few to many beers yesterday with the fantastic Leythers I met. The Toronto fans were very welcoming and the craft beer garden is a great touch. Hats off also to the leigh players who came into the beer garden and mingled with the fans after the game.
Had a great time despite the loss. All the best everyone I met, especially the fox hunt stag party guys

Great to see you again Paul, and kudos for managing to be up in time for your flight given how late we left the Brazen Head...I didn’t surface until 11.30am to go for a Timmie’s!
