Apparently we've offered him a new contract to stay with us, which i'd be VERY happy with. But if he's already signed for Ottowa i assume we'll have to pay his contract out IF ottowa are happy to let him??

Great news. I read that he has a clause in his Ottawa deal that he can leave if a SL club offers a contract. Salford are reckoned to be chasing him so perhaps that's what has made us move.
The lad deserves another opportunity.

He had a clause in his Ottawa contract that meant he could leave for free if he got a SL contract, I presume that would include us. Maybe a new deal with us and a 12 month loan deal with Ottawa might work? If he stays with us he will get limited gametime next year you would expect. |

I do not think it is a good idea for anyone to join Ottawa (with Covid in mind). Too many things to go wrong.
He definitely has a clause in his contract that if "a super league club comes calling" he can join them.

Deserves the contract. I hope he gets game time with us though. Good solid second row and an option at prop. If he can bulk up like hill did in his first pre season witb us that would be nice.

It did seem very strange that Robson was being released when we still have Sita and Latu. Great to see some sense prevailing, and now we ought to call time on the other two.
