I was sat next to Matty tonight, and asked him about his injury: he confirmed it’s an 80% tear, needs surgery and will be 3-4 month recovery. Could be July before he’s back. He was obviously gutted.

Interestingly, Gelling was sat with the non-playing squad members (and kindly lent me his towel to dry our seats-£44m on a couple of new stands, and the front 10 rows get wet when it rains!)

It wasn’t raining in the standless terrace.
