I was happy with it generally, thought the atmosphere inside the ground was pretty good considering it was only half full. I'd prefer it to be a little closer to the city centre but jumped into an Uber without too much trouble. Fanzone didnt seem up to much, could do with a little more space for it really. I believe the trains home weren't great - fortunately we were in a minibus so no issues there. I'd go back in 2020.
I'd give Liverpool another couple of years then look to move on again. If it is taken down to London I'd be concerned that the crowd numbers would drop, but then they weren't too bad for Cardiff and it probably comes down to what council is prepared to offer Super League the most to host it there. Etihad would be good but we already have the Grand Final in Manchester, so probably best to spread it about a little?
