| I wasn't confident going into the game, but i didn't expect it to end up with one of the worst performances i've ever seen

Not confident ,
You were playing a team with four of their five best players missing .

Correct we just got nilled against a mid-table side with half their players missing when they didn't even play that well. Shocking

I had this argument a couple of years back but that Clare whatever her name is was adamant that fan entertainment is more important than what happens on the pitch, yeh fun watching a load of wolves crapping on the pitch. Anyway look at Wigan how their attendances have dropped, fans want to see their team winning not bloody Jedward.

| Think that was the worst out of the three play off games performances 2019, 2020 and now 2021.
Cas 2019 we lost by 2 points at home. (First game of playoffs)
Hull 2020 we lost by 13 points at home. (First game of playoffs)
HKR we lost by 19 points at home. (First game of playoffs)
Anyone else seeing a pattern??
Let’s face facts here, come the business end of the season we’ve been progressively getting worse over the last 3 seasons. The amount of errors and penalties we made tonight was beyond comprehension and it was laughable how much we played into their hands. The likes of Hughes, Ratchford, Hill and Mamo were absolutely dreadful I think they made about 10 errors/penalties between them.
It was appalling to watch from a Wire’s perspective, credit to HKR obviously but we were so so bad …probably the worst I’ve seen us play all year and we save it for the most important one.
The only bright spark was Longstaff again, who for me should be in the 17 every week next year.

| We needed a leader tonight to stand up and calm us down once Hull K.R scored, not a single one of our so called leaders stood up to be counted, Ratch back to his headless chicken days, Hill? You could put his errors down to him trying to hard maybe, but we needed a leader in the forwards without Cooper and Hill failed
Like he has done the majority of his Warrington career in big games, both Widdop and Williams were atrocious, Clark should never have played the lad has single handedly carried us for years but has looked shot to bits for months and finally Jack Hughes IF Powell’s first act as manager is stripping this lad of the captaincy he will be into a winner with the fans, he’s captain by label only, god knows what they see in training but he doesn’t transfer any attributes you would associate with a captain onto the field poor player who doesn’t lead from front.

Doesn't matter. When you've been watching Wire for 21 years you know to expect some sort of disappointment. Haha

Increasing defeats by teams further to the east than the last. Lets hope there's no expansion into Amsterdam by the time we next make the playoffs.

Damn, you beat me to it.
I reckon a scratch Doggerland XIII would have turned us over last night.

Nine players most would consider to be first choice missing from Rovers squad. The difference between the two sides was that one played as a team with the limited resources available the other consisted of a group of highly paid individuals. With the exception of Cooper didn’t Price
have a full squad to choose from?

Yes and that is when Price is at his poorest. The only decent spell during his tenure was when we had a number of injuries and the squad picked itself.

| Quote: ratticusfinch "How on earth is Ashton getting drilled after Stefans performance and the ridiculous decision to play D Clark. Deserved to be laughed at tonight, the worst of all our losses and I've been at many a howler. Tonight showed the worth of a coach, team of journeymen against supposed superstars and they wiped the floor with us.'"
My assessment of Ashton wasn't me 'drilling' him, it was me pointing out something obvious and that he is never in a million years a full back.
He's an obvious attacking talent and it's going to be a challenge for Powell to get him into the side and make use of his ability, but at full back his weaknesses will be constantly exposed and any positives from his attacking impact would be negated and points regularly conceded, as opponents target him.

| It's taken a while to calm myself down but all things considered, the investment in the squad and the therefore the expectation that comes with it but was THE most disappointing performance I think I've ever seen, a total disgrace.
Sure we've been beaten before but abject doesn't begin to cover that 'performance' last night
