That's the system but not necessarily the schedule and presumably the Huddersfield, Wigan and Hull FC home games will also be influenced by the football season?

| If my memory serves me right didn't we have Huddersfield the week after Wembley in 2012 and batter them, think the week before is the one we should be more worried about... IF we win Saturday

Wigan always seem to struggle arranging the games when Latics are at home, maybe they will get some some Thursday night games forcing some teams into a short turnaround.

Correct, although we were at home another win like that one would do nicely Just goes to emphasise how important the schedules will be not only to keep the chase for 4th alive for as many teams as possible, but, rather selfishly for us and also for KR in the middle 8's if they ruin my ale trail on Saturday

Monitoring outside for the people inside: |

| Knowing the way Sky operate I would say that the schedule is done purely to maximise viewing figures.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hudds v Wire as the final fixture if Sky have anything to do with it. Bring it on I say!

I'd prefer that to be our first fixture. I'd know if I can book my holiday or not then.

I'll take that, defeat in our first game and a Hudds win, will effectively see us eliminated bar the maths. I'll book it after that, or not.

| It will surely be done to maximise interest and viewing figures and you can't really argue with that. I'm expecting something like Leeds V Wires and Saints V Wigan first weekend to kick it off with a fanfare, then as said above Huddersfield V Wires and Saints V Leeds on the last weekend which they will be hoping will be deciders for the fourth play off spot and the LLS respectively.
Obviously if we're out of it by the last weekend and the LLS is already wrapped up those fixtures won't mean much, but there's nothing anyone can do about that. Most people will predict them as the most likely outcomes though I think.

| It will all depend on Wigan Athletic, Hull City and Huddersfield Town. If The Pies and Huddersfield only have certain weekends available to borrow the stadium, then that'll be the weekends when they play their home games.

Makes no odds we often have played Friday night and Huddersfield Town played on the Sat with no problem so that's not an issue. I think Premier League clubs would be a bigger problem as they like to have no games 48 hours before a PL game but with Hull and Wigan's demise that does not matter now (and FC ignored that guideline at least once last season anyway).

I stand corrected then. I assumed the lower leagues had the same rules as the Premier.
