I think maybe the main reason for the gulf between the two codes is that in terms of business, forces participation, university teams & the top end of society connections where money matters ,Union has a massive advantage.
The people in charge at the RFU have rubbed shoulders with the previously mentioned most of their lives & rightly or wrongly regard the RFL & its followers as a gang of oiks.

If that's true you'll outnumber us (Wigan) tonight, yesterday on the e-ticket site it was showing 7/8000 sold, today it's dropped to about 4000, bitterly disappointing for what promises to be the game of the season.  |
