My guess is 7-8.

An interesting and varied read in the 10 pages.

My view -
1. Catalans ready took it to us and deserved to win.
Their start to the match was incredible and their forwards dominated.
Considering they were significantly understrength - made worse when da Costa went off injured - they deserve massive plaudits.

2. Wire found a way to win even though they were second best. Fantastic resilience - something I've not seen for many many years from us. They didnt play at their best - weren't allowed to - yet they still came away with 2 points.
The chase back by 4 players to stop Johnstone scoring was really top draw and worth the entrance fee alone.

3. Dudson is a complete tool (a universal view) - he may not have ultimately cost us this match but could have the next two. What the f*** was he thinking? Johnstone did nothing wrong. Don't think we'll see him until late May / early June.

4. Drinkwater had a great match - arguably his best so far for us - and possibly just shades our mom from Dufty and Currie. Sublime kicking.

5. Some very difficult 50/50 calls for the ref and video ref, and also some forward passes not called (Danny was lucky one more than one occasion). I wouldn't have liked to try to make some of those calls.

6. Fan support fantastic.

7. Too many comments on this thread related to the commentators rather than the match. I'd rather talk about the excitement of the match.

Overall - this match had me on the edge of my seat from minute 1.
A fantastic showcase for RL apart from one tool.

I had a flashback to Ben Flower when Dudson hit him, and was praying his fist wasn't clenched.

Was it in the Wigan game yesterday that one got binned, it’s when the player is tackling from behind and falls backwards dragging the player down. It was on Da Costa, I saw the ref put it on report after the play stopped for doctor on the field.

Dudson let himself down, but let’s not be too hasty in calling for a mass lynching.

He can serve out his 3 game ban and he can get on with things.
